Synergy Physio Classes

classes picSynergy Physio offers a wide range of classes to assist you in improving your health and wellbeing! We offer supervised pilates and strengthening rehabilitation for the recovery of back pain, yoga classes, yoga-pilates fusion, pregnancy yoga and mums’n’bubs yoga.

Health fund rebates apply for classes run by our physiotherapists and exercise physiologists.

We keep our classes small and personalised, tailored to your needs. Classes are by appointment only, please contact our friendly reception team on 07 54483369 to reserve your space. Your can attend your class on a casual PAYG basis, or save by purchasing a 5 class pass (to be used within 3 months).

Our pregnancy yoga, mums and bubs yoga and calm living meditation course are prepaid 5 week courses that are run at regular intervals throughout the year. Contact us to register your interest and find out when our next course is offered!”

Class Descriptions

 

Pilates Duo Class

Clinical pilates and physiotherapy strengthening exercises to improve posture and core stability within a small and personalised group of two only, utilising pilates reformer, matwork and small equipment. A physiotherapist that will guide you to understanding how to accurately activate and strengthen your core and postural muscles with a series of matwork and small equipment based exercises tailored to your own bodies needs and injuries. Suitable for rehabilitation and recovery from low back pain, thoracic pain and posture related injuries.

Pilates Small Group Class

Clinical Pilates and physiotherapy strengthening exercise in a small group of 4. Improve posture and core stability within a small group of four only, utilising pilates reformer, matwork and small equipment. Suitable for rehabilitation and recovery from low back pain, thoracic pain and posture related injuries. Our physiotherapists that will guide you to understanding how to accurately activate and strengthen your core and postural muscles with a series of more challenging functional strengthening exercises, pilates matwork, reformer and small equipment based exercises.

Yoga- Pilates

A fusion of physiotherapy exercises, yoga and functional pilates to aid in the recovery from back, neck and musculoskeletal pain. Classes include information prevention of low back and neck pain with a combination of pilates, core stability strengthening, yoga stretches, functional rehabilitation exercises, postural advice and self help tips.

Rise’n’Shine Yoga

For the early risers! Start your day off with a gentle flowing sequence of yoga postures and short mediation. Level one classes suitable for beginners. 

Calm Living Meditation

5 week course. Would you like to know how to meditate and bring mindfulness into your life? Join Nichole on a 5 week mindfulness meditation course! This practical course is written by Michael Daly of Being Yoga. It offers a number of simple yet effective mindfulness mediation techniques, based on neuroscience in the management of managing stress. You will learn the art of stress free breathing techniques as well as four different mindfulness meditation techniques to assist you in learning to manage stress and calm the mind. You will also receive your guided take home audio meditations and a written manual. Next 5 week course starts Tuesday 4th October from 7pm. $145, Bookings essential as spaces are limited- contact us on 0754483369 for queries or to reserve your place.

Class fees

 Classes can be attended casually PAYG or purchased as a 5 class pack. Please note that all 5 class packs have a 3 month expiry from the date of purchase and are non-transferable. A dated health fund receipt will be issued at the attendance of each class in order for you to claim directly from your fund.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to the nature of appointment based sessions, Synergy Physio respectfully requires 24 hours notice should you wish to cancel your class appointment. Any less notice will result in 100% charge for the session.
