danceNichole has studied and practiced yoga for over 10 years. In 2011 she qualified as a yoga teacher under the expert tuition of Being Yoga. Nichole combines physiotherapy and yoga practice to assist in injury prevention and recovery from pain.

Nichole has firsthand experience in yoga postures and has expertise in assessment of postures and how to resolve and prevent injury in yoga. She blends both physical yoga practices and meditation techniques within her physiotherapy practice to enhance and optimise recovery from pain or injury.

Nichole regularly teaches her yoga-physio classes in Coolum. These classes run as a 5 week block are a fusion of physiotherapy exercises, yoga and functional pilates to aid in the recovery from back, neck and musculoskeletal pain. For more information on her next Classes

With a passion for education Nichole has also developed a series of online resources for yoga practitioners, patients and yoga teachers. The videos provide information on anatomy and injury prevention during yoga practice, with a focus on typical problem areas that can occur for yogis.
