Rebecca Horrocks is a professional women’s health physiotherapist here with us at Synergy Physio. Rebecca has extensive experience treating a variety of pelvic conditions including; incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pregnancy related pelvic pain, postnatal pelvic floor tears and postnatal stomach muscle separation. Rebecca is passionate about helping women both prepare and recover their body’s during and after pregnancy.

Her Birth and Beyond Course is run at regular intervals throughout the year. This course was designed to help women PREVENT problems after giving birth and EDUCATE women on how to help them have a happy and healthy pregnancy!

This friendly and informative workshop will offer a 30min discussion of a different topic each week, including how to manage aches and pains, common conditions during pregnancy and how to manage them, how to get the best from your Week 0-6 post natal recovery, how to treat and manage abdominal separation and when to return to exercise.

You will also participate in a 40min Pilates class which will cover how to engage and exercise your pelvic floor and we will provide you with safe and effective exercises and stretches that you can do whilst pregnant and continue doing after delivery which will help you recover.

We will discuss what exercises to do safely during and after pregnancy and how to recover your body and stomach after delivery. Our course is evidence based and therefore you only get the facts!!

Included will be your 4 weeks of pilates, take home manual, a FREE 30 min massage voucher and a chance to give yourself the gift of a healthy pregnancy and body beyond birth.
